Florida in February

This was the first time Gabrielle has been on the beach walking, over the summer when we went she wasnt walking yet so it was cute to see her reaction to the sand between her toes. Isabella on the other hand is a beach baby. She figured out if you throw the sand in the wind it flies back in your face, she thought that was hilarious. It was a beautiful beach day about 75 degrees, not warm enough to go into the water, as you can sea the waves were a little rough anyway but there were a lot of people out sunning themselves.

2 minute after leaving the beach- gotta love that salty sea air

Happy Valentines Day from 2 Guatemalan angels

The girls were not exactly cooperative this morning for their Valentines Day pictures, I could only get them to sit still for one nice picture of both of them. Their shirts are so cute, angel wings on the back. For those of you who know my Isabella you know they should probably be little devil horns.

Leave me alone

What a face!!!
Isabella loves Gabrielle so much but she is starting to drive her crazy, Isabella tries to hug her so much and Gabrielle lets out this noise that sounds like a psychotic peacock. I say peacock because we have wild peacocks in our yard every day and she sounds just like them

Gabrielle's eye

I know that some of you know already but Gabrielle has developed some eye problems. Actually the eye doctor seems to think she has had it since birth. Her left eye is a little lazy and he thinks she may be losing her vision in that eye so everyday we have to patch her good eye for an hour to try to correct the bad eye. She has been such a good girl about it, I have to put socks on her hands so she doesnt pull the patch off. The doctor claims she may have to wear glasses soon to help correct her vision. Hopefully it wont come to that.

Sisters

I am sure many of you have noticed Isabella is missing clothes in many of the pictures for some reason her new thing is taking all her clothes off. She has so many beautiful outfits and she has decided naked with just a diaper is the way to go

New Blog

Okay I think I have it this time. My google account was screwed up for a while so I couldnt set up a blog so I think I have it now. For those of you who dont know I have two beautiful little girls from Guatemala. Isabella is 2 1/2 today and Gabrielle is almost 17 months. Yes I have my hands full. They are wonderful. I feel very blessed to have them. They are doing new, funny things every day. All of my friends have blogs and I felt left out not having one so here it is. I am going to try to post some recent pictures but I am stuck temporarily in the dial up world so we will see how I can get them up there. My girls and I are very blessed to have friends around us who have adopted as well and my girls have a constant connection to their country. I am making an effort to speak only Spanish to them at home but I have to admit I have gotten lazy. Enjoy my blog I promise I will keep it up to date. Good luck to all of you in the adoption process and enjoy your children when they come home.
